My GS would not start after I filled it with fuel, (from a can) when I checked the airbox was full of gas???
anybody seen this before?
thanks Woko.
Most likely the floats are stuck open, allowing gas to flood the engine (and than your airbox).
Before trying to start the motor again, pull both spark plugs out and leave them unattached. Then hit the starter button for a couple seconds. If gasoline is trapped in the cylinders, there is too much to ignite and it can bend your valves.
check the oil in your engine also, probably has some gas in it as well, which could easily ruin your engine when you get the float issue resolved.
Best bet is to change it as soon as you eliminate the cause of the flooding.
