I bought a my 01 and 6 months in its startinhto sputter weirdly a week later it started to leak gas and flood out from quite often. I've also noticed it leaks fuel while parked and regardless what position the petcock is in. I thought it was my floats until that last part. I'm sitting here with my carbs dismantled and petcock diaphragm open and don't see anything irregular. Any help?

Floats aren't sinking in the water I set them in, it's been a whole day.
Here's the petcock diaphragm. It has a 1mm crack on one side surrounded by a bunch on pin holes (red circle), but the opposite side doesn't have the same thing. Could fuel still be leaking thru? I also noticed a bunch of tiny cracks 3 o clock from the red illustrated crack. These have been illustrated in blue. I've looked at carb rebuild kits and they seem to come with 3 or more O-rings. I'm assuming one goes around the float, one around each jet. The picture below may also have had o rings but It seems like it may have deteriorated? There's crud aroun the 'valve' and in the hole where they sit in for the carb. Could this be where the leak is coming from? Could be allowing more fuel thru where the o ring should be. The inside of this 'valve' is clean and it looks like the needle floats sit in it and seal.

it's those o-rings that have deteriorated. My bike did the same thing a little while ago. Replace them and you should be fine, but holes in the diaphragms will also cause problems, so I would suggest replacing them as well. Good luck!
I had an issue similar to this. My 2006 GS500 had never had the hoses replaced so they were 9 years old and they recommended to be changed every 3 years. I'd change those two hoses coming from the fuel chicken and see if you can get gas to shoot out, chances are good one of them might be bad. At least in my scenario that was my problem. I replaced both with 1/4" fuel line and no more leaky gas, or sputtering which was nice.
Do you think I can grab a sufficient O ring to use for now from an auto parts or hardware store? Also my hoses are hard and are in need of refurbishing, but it was leaking from the top of the carbs Without a doubt.
I plugged the valve with a o ring small enough to fit over it. It still leaks but out of the sides of the 't-nipple' seals that's located between each carb (red circle). Also every time I touch the idle screw while I run the bike my hand is drenched in gas. So it's leaking from that nipple and somewhere up higher between the carbs. If your question on the o-rings is for the brass seats: Yes. However, if you buy a rebuild kit they send a whole new piece with O-ring, and it will probably sit better.
I replaced those seat rings with ones from an auto-parts store, but they never seated well the whole way in, seemed to sort of get stuck after a little ways in. The bike does run and stopped flooding, however, so until your rebuild kit comes in it should be fine ;)

that circled red thing is the over-fill out-let pipe thingy, If I remember correctly. when I had valve needle issues on my old GS, and it was flooding/over filling. that's where it was leaking from.
since your float needles seem to be fine..
I'd bet you its your petcock, kinda like its being stuck on "prime" the whole time, just letting fuel run into your carbs, instead of "sucked"
J-Walker, wouldn't the floats shut off the gas to the carbs even if it was consistently stuck on PRI?
I'm sticking with the o-rings as at least part of the problem. The petcock could be bad, which would cause leaking when not running, but I would try replacing the o-rings first, and see what that changes.
