This is my bike, and i wanted to share it since a long time ago :D
I bought it like this, with 36.000km (around... 20.000-25.000 miles) on it

i started to use photoshop to create some kind of design that my eyes would appreciate, as i like more racing bikes more than tourers, so this was the idea i had:

remember that in spain the gs stopped it's production since 2007, so the new style with the red F hasnt arrived here.
I liked the result on the screen, and started working on it, creating the decals/vinyls, and making it more modern.

And finally mounted:

For now i made these liiitle mods (Here in spain the legality is really restricted):
- Philips Vision XP bulb for better LEGAL lighting
- Braided Break lines in the front
- Changed for oil to Sae 15
- All the visual decal stuff
- Rim stripes in blue.
- new K&N Drop-in filter
Recently i made it's valves (Thankoy a f*** Lot Kerry and budha for your info!), and typical manteniance.
I hope you like it and ill post new pictures/videos as i make them!
Proud to be in the family :)
Those changes you made make a pretty cool difference... nice work!!! I like the black and Suzuki you added at the bottom.
In your list of mods, it says, 'Changed for oil to sae 15'... I am guessing ya meant fork oil... did the 15 make a noticible difference? I am getting ready to replace my fork seals and swap in 20 weight oil... was just wondering your thoughts on the 15.
Great pics and thanks for sharing!!! :icon_mrgreen:
Hi wolf!
Yeah sorry for that typo , yes its fork oil! I think that its the perfect grade for the stock rear suspension . I didn't install washers or PVC tube, just changed the oil and it goes pretty well, it avoids the excessive compression at hard braking... I'm really happy with it!
Never cared for the F but this is definitely one of the better looking ones.
Thank you coupe, I also added a double bubble windscreen. It's from puig , not zero gravity. Its not so tall, only rises one inch in comparison to the stock one.
The thing is.
I installed a k&n dropin filter, and I think that the carbs are stock.
But with the restrictor it goes really bad (maybe too much gas), and without it it goes perfectly.
What could it be?
By the way, this is the puig windscreen! Not as aggressive as the zero gravity as you can see

Doesn't durprise me. Possible that the restricter fitted is just that with no difference in jets/carbs or anything. Sure someone better in the know will tell you on here.
