Title: Winter project is started
Post by: Beau_ma2 on November 18, 2014, 09:53:44 AM
Hey guys!

Winter just arrived in Montreal, I'll be working on my GS for the dead season! I already started to repaint my gas tank to turn it light grey. I also planning to repaint my exhaust line in black cause it's pretty rusty and to change the turn signals for smaller ones.

What do you think about taking the rear fairing off? It will certainly expose some electric components, did you have any problems doing it in the past? I've seen lots of custom GS pictures without fairing.

Do you have any other ideas for my project?

Thanks!

Looks like a fn project. You might want to have the exhaust sand blasted before repainting.

Or if you can have it ceramic coated or powdecoated with high temp powder.

Yeah, I was away from Montreal for 3 days and came back to find snow everywhere. If I were you I would change the frontfork springs first
