Title: Oil Leak. PLEASE HELP!!!
Post by: Wetrider on December 31, 2014, 10:48:40 AM
I have a 2005 gs500f. After a ride, and dismounting the bike- I can see oil splattered all over both sides of the rear tire, and the exhaust. After parking, there will be a quarter size oil spot just in front of the kick stand right in the center of the bike on the pavement, after 5 minutes. We tore off the fairings, and took a look. But there is no obvious place where the leak is. Has anyone had this happen? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sick of cleaning oil off my bike!!

Ya I had this happen. It ended up being a bunch of gunk mixed with chain lube. Take off the front sprocket cover and clean it up!
