@yama... that sounds really cool! Pix of the project when it gets going?? :icon_mrgreen:
@cbr... COOL gift! You gotta let us know how well it does. About how tall is it?
Pretty neat CBR. I have a small hand held sandblaster that I use fairly regularly. What type of media will you be putting thru yours? If you're frugal (cheap) like me and use plain old sand, there are some precautions you need to take.
What about pulverised walnut shells?
Well, I surprised myself with a brand new rear 43T sprocket, so I'm gonna finally have an oem cbr (15-43) gearing ratio on my bike. Wooohooo...
It took me an couple of hours to find the closest match on the JT Sprockets online cataloque, to fit the sprocket on the GS hub with a minimum of machining, and best of all, it has a little offset, so no more chain/tyre clearance issues.
It's an JTR611, that originally fits 1993' Gilera Nordwest 600.
And... a brand new LED turn-lights.
Oh yeah, wife got me a Kinder Pingui megapack. Life is good.

What about pulverised walnut shells?
I think walnut shells are mostly used for refinishing wood (rocking chairs, desks, etc). Using plain sand is super cheap, but can bring on silicosis. And baking soda is used on aluminum, but will kill all the grass in a 10' area if sprayed outside. Don't ask how I know.....
Shepa, JT's catalog is pretty awesome, huh? I used it for a 520 conversion on my GR650. Who would've guessed that a 520 sprocket from a TU250 would fit a bike from 1983?
Yes inded. I stand corrected
Tent and lightweight cot (I am riding from San Francisco, CA home to Lake Stevens, WA in May. The first part of the ride will be along the coast from San Francisco to Astoria, OR. Will be staying at campgrounds along the way)
Seahawks gear (cap, shirt, 12th Man flag)
Ipod
Saute pan (I do all the cooking in the house)
PJs (Get new ones every year)
Cant beat that Eh?
I got socks, jocks, a neato micro chest to store shaZam! in, and a step by step book on drawing and painting and stuff. I may get the courage to post up what I learnt from it...
Coolness. Did an oil painting of christ in the garden of gethsemane in 1997. But always loved drawing more. Installed shetchbook x from autodesk on the vk810
The book I got crosses between Pencil/Charcoal, Watercolour and Oil painting. I'm going to start oil painting once I have a job and disposable income again lol.
Found something i did want tho lol.http://www.amazon.com/iFixit-IF145-072-1-Pro-Tech-Toolkit/dp/B007XGWQ2Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420745562&sr=8-1&keywords=ifixit+pro+tech+tool+kit#productDetails(https://d1luk0418egahw.cloudfront.net/static/images/blank.gif)

Imho theres no wrong way to paint, draw or scultp. I do all of these. WHEN my mind tells me to. I painted this in 1997. I overhauled moms waterman ftn pen. Cleaned the gold nib. Overhauled grandfathers eterna automatc circa 1942. Going to use the ftn pen to draw this. Will post when done. Going to create thread for this. That book will give you some ideas. Your mind, will give you the rest. This is my subject. The blue waterman pictured is what i will draw it with.

That is a beautiful painting yama.
Thank you . what i said about my mind, applies to me anyways. If i lose interest half way through, odds are ill never finish it. Ive a couple canvases in my home i never finished. I still have my first painting, an acrylic, was a seascape i painted in 1988 for art class. It sucked according to teacher, but ehh, my mind wasnt into it then. But b it also turned out to be an illusion painting. If i turnn it 90 degrees, it looks like bill clinton with blue hair
A couple of very bright 15w led spot/fog lamps that I will mount just under the fairing which I hope will give me a much higher "road profile". Got the wiring loom and relay all sorted all that remains it to actually fit the stuff. - Oh! and a white silk scarf plus the usual stuff old geezers like me tend to get.
It was a Doctor Who Christmas for me! Got a massive book with a short story featuring each of the 12 Doctors. A TARDIS pillow, blanket, and lights. Was adopted by a grey and white kittr and got myself a Galaxy Gear Fit to go with my S5 LOVE it! Not to mention I snagged it for $99 at AT&T.
My apologies for not being on much life is crazy!
Mary
Yea mary, we were starting to get worries about you.
Cool.
Buddha.
I know I still exist! Life's well been interesting haven't been riding Flick anywhere as much as I used too. Some reason after Adidas well seeing all his contributions make me a little down. But, I'll never get rid of him jus not 15,000 miles a year. Maybe I'm getting older don't gotta prove I'm "well enough" to ride!
Yama don't get that I fix it kit way over priced! I fix cellphones on the side and can do much better than that. Go look up the Craftsman micro screwdriver it's battery powered love that suckered as you can change bits! For the bits Wally World had a precision set for $6 that had from #000 to pentalobe. If you need plastic pry tools I'm drowning in them! I don't know if you still need a laptop but got an hp windows 7 that needs a hard drive yours for the taking!
Mary
Coolness. definately :)
