My buddy who bought my 2002 GS in April for his wife just bought her a brandnew Indian. The GS is now up for sale. Here is some of its history:
- Purchased with locked up engine in 2010
- Replaced locked up engine (see my other listing, still have the engine) with a 1996 from another forum member
- Fixed up everything (Battery, new jetting, KN filter, sprockets, chain, tires, etc..) and got it inspected @ MRP Motorsports in 2009
- Sold to my buddy this year (title still in my name, we never switched it)
I rode approx. 3000 miles and he prob. another 1000 over the past couple years. Was a trooper. His wife had
a little 'incident' 6 weeks ago and laid it down in the rain, adding some dents to the tank but nothing dramatic. I put
on crash free handlebars and replaced the pegs and rear brake mount, touched up the paint on the tank. The
saddlebags prevented damage to the plastics.
This is a great starter bike. I always took care of it.
Miles are irrelevant. I have no clue how many there were on the replacement motor :)
