I have been looking on the wiki and trying to determine which tires I should go for. Im up here in Vancouver and some of the tires that they list are not listed or not made up here so I'm just wondering if anybody knows of a good website.
The wiki is quite outdated on tire info, here's a good comparo test of all the current major brands of bias tires tested on a GS500 on a track:

You can then check what's available locally or online. Nothing wrong with the BT45 current oem tires for the GS500, I like the Avon Roadriders for a good compromise of performance and long life, many like the Demons for performance on the GS500 and Ninja 500 bikes.
There are also some good radial tires to fit the GSs now, the new Michelin Pilot Street Radials come in our sizes and are like their Pilot Road tires for small bikes.
These tire threads usually take off when started, have fun.
Perfect thank you for the quick response. I'm just curious; so I go in the Avon tyres website for the recommendation for the Suzuki models and they give me a different tire size than it does on the wiki. On the wiki it says fronts 110/80 rears 140/80. On the avon website it says fronts 110/70 rears 130/70.. Not too sure which ones I should pick up I have a 1992 GS 500.
Stock rims as well..
Stock size for all years GS500/E/F is 110/70-17 front and 130/70-17 rear on 3.0 and 3.5" wheels. I used some 110/80 and 140/80 Avon radials on my 02 GS ten years ago, bigger than stock size and very good tires, there weren't any stock size radials back then for the GS. Now you can get the Michelin Pilot Street Radials in stock sizes.
Thank you very much for the input. I think im gonna for the Avons.
Got mine off Canadasmotorcycle site, slightly more $ but it works our equally to shipping and taxes from the USA stores (funny that.....)
