Title: will this light work as a headlight

im wanting to use this as a headlight will it work?

Your bike's battery gives you 12 volts. seeing the title of the product, i'd say it would work.
This lamp uses 3 amps max., which should work with your battery (wich has 11 or 12, i believe).

I'd say it should work.

Work yes, but beam pattern/distance? is the crucial thing! ... I'd be looking up Ytube reviews or at least some real world photos of what it's doing down the road.....
I think the key word in the description is Auxiliary!

this. Auxiliary just means you're gonna blind the shaZam! out of traffic with no real beam distance.

sure you can see reflectors a half a mile away... but you wont see some dude J-walking in the middle of the night, 300 yards away.
