Alright so I just finished cleaning my carbs and one of my floats was a little high so I was adjusting them. I am using a gauge and measuring it right at 14.6mm. Well when I put the carbs back on and hook up fuel lines n check the levels. It stays just a hair above the gasket surface. So I have pulled them off many times now and even have it down to 14mm for the floats and it seemed to have zero change in the heights. Anybody have any ideas? My measurements are accurate for sure

That looks alright ... what exactly is your concern ? A hair high ... maybe, I like to set em a hair low, but overall not too shabby.
Cool.
Buddha.
Are your carbs cracked? They look cracked in the first picture.
