Once upon a time I bought a gs 500 and rode it for my ten thousand mile trip across the eastern us. I remembered the desire for a katana front end being listed repeatedly . I stumbled on two barn katanas. Only one set of wheels and tires will be needed. Thus for sale is the entire front end including triple trees. I will also there are rims and swing arm available. For your swap, yes you can use the 99 kat FE's but a 89-96 600 is the best.
The biggest improvement of the 89-96 over the later ones is the famous DOP calipers on the 89-96.
Plus some other crap I cant remember right now.
