Title: Rectifier part number question
Post by: Super Shadow on May 08, 2015, 08:52:52 PM
I need to order a new rectifier and was wondering if the part number markings ion the bottom  have to be exactly as it came off of the bike.  Mine says SH640HN and T6.N 081 on it.  Just wondering if i am being too anal about the specific numbers or not.

It's probably the manufactures part #, and could represent Batch #s, Date and Time info and not Suzuki's part # info.

Oh...I see whats going on here, you want to save some monyz   http://www.madhornets.com/regulator-voltage-rectifier-suzuki-gs500k-01-09-gs500-04-11-sh640ha-yhc-074/ (http://www.madhornets.com/regulator-voltage-rectifier-suzuki-gs500k-01-09-gs500-04-11-sh640ha-yhc-074/) it's not OEM as they state, but it is half the cost of OEM.

NO the numbers will not match the numbers on the bikes rectifier if the bikes rectifier is OEM

"Direct replacement to your original unit
Plug-and-play, direct fit, easy installation
Higher grade of electronic components

Quality exceeds the OEM equipment
heavy duty regulator/rectifier replaces OEM part
