Title has it, looking for some valve shims:
2 x 2.65mm
2 x 2.70mm
Have some I could purchase from a shop across the country, but would rather give the money to a member if they're available. Don't really need the tool, but would be willing to throw in a little more if you were willing to part with it (found that a screwdriver and magnet work just fine for removal/replacement, but I'm a sucker for having the "right" tool! :icon_mrgreen:).
I'm all for supporting the forum, but most people who have a selection of shims want to keep them for future use.
You know you can get them from any Suzuki dealer? not just 1 shop on the other side of the country?
Right--normally is that easy. However, the two local shops I checked had them on back order (til July) in addition to the shop across the country that was recommended to me. Two of the three shops each had one used shim in my size, but could not confirm it was an OEM part, and I have been advised against aftermarket.
Since mine seem to be on the larger end of what I read on the forums comes factory, I figured if people on here had used ones, the ones I'd need would most likely be oversize shims removed and no longer needed in a kit they were saving. (Assuming the normal wear pattern of going to thinner shims.)
Got a little impatient with the shops so figured I would give it a shot here :dunno_black:
