Post by: robochristt on May 27, 2015, 10:39:23 AM
My problem is when I push my starter button the lights dim and nothing else happens. When I bypass the solinoid it starts, so I baught a new solinoid really, and after installing it nothing has changed. Still not working anyone have any ideas?

How did you bypass the solenoid? With jumper wires, or a screwdriver across the posts?
If you went across the solenoid posts and it starts, you may have a fault in the wires that go from the button to the solenoid itself.
If it started with jumper cables directly to the battery, you may have a fault in the positive wire that goes to the solenoid.
