Title: Low engine noise
Post by: rotemy on June 02, 2015, 05:46:12 AM
Good day everyone
i owner of gs500f 2004. the speedometer see 60K.
In recent days, when I go to travel more than 15 minutes, start to have noise, knocking, engine lower in the direction of the gears. The noise only happens only after a motorcycle ride hot. When I stop and stand where the noise disappears. In some cases, when I keep stability while driving noise also gone off. Before I go on spending money'd love to know what you think the problem is. It is important to note that when people heard the noise I changed gear set and chain.

Thank assistants

Does it sound like the noise I've posted about?

I wonder if we're having the same problem

Knocking is often big end bearings that have been starved of oil. :-( does the frequency of the knock increase with revs.?)
