Title: Acceleration issue
Post by: nadgs on June 03, 2015, 07:20:30 AM
I have a 07 gs500F with 1900 miles on it. I changed the handle bar and clutch/brake levers.  It was running great until few days.

when i start from the first gear, it's going to the higher rpms but just under 25-30 mph. i have keep it at 7k rpms for few seconds to even go from 30 - 45 mph. it's  happening in all gears.

Do i need to adjust the clutch push rod ? what else could have gone wrong ?

Do a 3 point clutch adjustment and you should be all good.

yup, I did the clutch adjustment and noticed that I tightened the heck out of the clutch lever which is causing the clutch to disengage all the time.
