Title: Struggling with Starter Clutch.
Post by: Swamble on June 17, 2015, 09:39:42 PM
I'm having a problem with my starter clutch, the springs and roll push piece that hold the rollers in place are stuck, well two of them are.. is there anyway to get these unstuck or do I just need to buy a whole new setup.

Thanks in advance.  :cookoo:

It sounds like you got the 3 solid metal cylinders out, but only 2 of the 3 springs with the metal cap came out? The 3rd one is stuck inside the hole?

I *think* that you might be able to remove the outer stamped steel from the inside by heating up the outside and tapping the inside with a hammer, then you can access the hole from the outside. Or if you can get a drill bit or a screw driver in, you might be able to yank it out that way.
