I have discovered that I am missing one "needle jet" after having my bike unsuccessfully remain cranked.
The part can be found at http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/oemparts/a/suz/506b32c0f870022ba8af9acc/carburetor, part 13.
What is this part and would it cause my bike to behave the way it is if one were missing?
I apply the choke and start the bike. It revs to around 3k - 3.5k and slowly dies. Afterwards, it won't start again and eventually drained my battery.
Perhaps I am having uneven fuel mixture between the carbs.
I rejetted the carbs to a 120 pilot, 62.5 mid main, and 142.5 main from stock (117,60,130).
I also shimmed the needles with 2 M3 washers and turned out mixture screw 2 turns.

It controls how much fuel is drawn into the venturi (I think) Regardless it needs one to work. Its a carb, they don't really have bits that are not necessary.
