Anybody tried riding with these?

There's also a BMX version that has a better tail bone pad. I just got a pair of each, but I'm torn. I like the size and placement of the pads on the regular version, but the pad density and tailbone pad on the BMX version seems better.
There's also these from Bohn for about the same price... http://www.amazon.com/Bohn-Tribal-Armored-Shorts-Medium/dp/B005GX0F2O/ref=pd_sim_sbs_263_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=1VKVD9TMMN064EZC52ZE
What - a, what - a saver ???? you guys find the weirdest stuff man. :cookoo:
Cool.
Srinath.
Wow those look nifty!! Nobody wants road rashed cheeks :D
Hummm, an adult diaper would be a cheap way of adding cush to the tush :icon_idea:
I have the full pants from Bohn armor, not the shorts. I don't wear them anymore for multiple reasons... the fit isn't right for me at all. The top of the pants comes up above my belly button and is insanely tight (even for spandex or whatever it is). The deal breaker for me was the lack of.....restroom access. When I ride for longer distances I stop for fuel and to use the restroom - and fighting with armored spandex sucks.
I got a pair of Joe Rocket textile pants that have the equivalent armor and love them.
I wear something similar for snowboarding. Cushion impact buy not sure how well they will do for sliding down the road.
Great insulation in winter.....

The Triple8 are made for action sports cushioning. I intend them as some impact protection underneath pants intended to resist abrasion.
