Title: Downgrading rear shock
Post by: scotty110788 on July 16, 2015, 01:27:11 PM
I have a 92 gs, currently in process of rebuilding and customising. It has been upgraded to a showa shock (I think from a cbr) only problem is, it's design means I can't fit a standard air box, pain to fit all wiring and batter round it because takes up room for when I shorten sub frame, is it worth all the effort to keep or will downgrading to a stock shock be to much damage to the performance?

Katana shock will work and fit the airbox too. I don't like these piggy back types.
Cool.

Why would you want the stock air box? it's such a pain to deal with.

Thanks, I'll look into that, I currently have the pod filters on and they are a proper nightmare! Will a lunchbox filter fit with the current rear shock?
