Title: VH header, lunchbox filter, ignition advance and rejet.....crankcase vent?
Post by: Weedy64 on August 02, 2015, 10:31:32 PM
2009 gs500f - total emissions removal.

Installed a lunchbox K&N and a full VH exhaust.  The jetting table says 20, 62.5, 145 and 3 washers - works well.  I might go down 1 washer to improve high rpm power but am generally very happy.

My ?? is what do most lunchbox modders do with the crankcase vent??

You can just run the hose from the top of the engine to the top of the air filter. Some people buy a small vent filter for the end of the hose, but it isn't entirely necessary - there's a filter under the crankcase vent "cap" on top of the engine.
