The tail centre section has had a tab brake off. Any suggestions on a replacement?

are you talking about that long black piece that holds the two side panels together? Mine's broken too! it bugs me constantly. Let me know if you find a solution.
i may try to just make something that holds it in place.
like velcro.
I've put 2 little holes on the panels and put a zip tie - but where to where are you velcroing ??
Cool.
Buddha.
adidasguy used something called Plastex, looks pretty solid to me. http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=62950.20

i have absolutely no idea. I haven't actually looked into it. I just figured some velcro on the underside to hold the pieces closer together would be better than nothing at all.
honestly, you can't even see it unless you're actually looking for it but i see nothing but that gap.
what i do, and it's not pretty, but it works, get some pre-drilled flat strap and install into the screw hole where the tab would be mounted. you will have to cut and shape the flat strap. next, mix up some epoxy, i like the clay/play doh type for consistency and mess. put the epoxy on the metal flat strap and stick the fairing up against it. you may need to tape or clamp, and make sure the epoxy surface is clean. the new metal takes the place of the tab. next day, voila! file/trim paint and treat it well.
This is actually for the rear of that part where there is no screw hole but a plastic tab that sits inside a slot. May glue a thin piece of steel inside the tail piece. Or just get a secondhand one, match the paint and rattle can the thing the same colour.

Cheers all for your help
