quick fix would be take out the glass and find a correct size bolt for the hole and a washer, good as new ;)

I bought a new sight glass, would I need to bleed the brakes after I replace it?

Well..... not really. As long as no air gets introduced into the system. Bleeding the front brake isn't really a problem though. If you decide to tackle it, post it up here before and you'll get plenty of tips on what to do and what not to do.
