Hi everybody. I have a "little" problem with my Suzuki GS500 m.y. 2003: i hate the graphics. Am i the only one? especially I don't like the black decal near the rear handle. (these http://cdn2.bigcommerce.com/n-ww20x/mdv5vd/products/686/images/862/SUZUKI_TAIL_GS500__81952.1409198089.1280.1280.GIF?c=2 (http://cdn2.bigcommerce.com/n-ww20x/mdv5vd/products/686/images/862/SUZUKI_TAIL_GS500__81952.1409198089.1280.1280.GIF?c=2) )
There is a solution? new graphics or similar? i don't think to be the only with this "problem". My Suzi is like this http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/attachment.php?s=44877a484e93c6470e0842364dcc4c4d&attachmentid=88378&stc=1&d=1285628473 (http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/attachment.php?s=44877a484e93c6470e0842364dcc4c4d&attachmentid=88378&stc=1&d=1285628473)
Thank you to all and sorry for my english, i don't speak very well!
The previous owner of my bike seemed to agree with you

If it is just a vinyl graphic over the paint, you should be able to add a little heat and peel. It takes some time, but with some elbow grease you should be able to get it off pretty well.
If it is more involved then somebody else may be able to add more advice.
Max, sometimes I reckon these bikes look better with no decals at all eh?
If your decals have been applied ABOVE the original clearcoat paint, they should be really easy to remove. (Original factory decals are always applied BENEATH the clearcoat which makes it much harder).
A heatgun REALLY helps as Prim3 says. It softens the adhesive and makes old brittle decals less liable to break as you peel them off.
I usually use a solvent, (try meths or white spirit). I start by using a Stanley knife blade held at a very shallow angle to start the decal peeling up on a corner, then just use a little art brush wetted with solvent around the 'peeling edge' as I peel up the decal. The heatgun softens the old adhesive as you go, makes it MUCH easier.
But be careful not to heat the panel too hot as it can distort plastic or blister the paint.
thank you to all boys! i will try to remove the stickers. There are alternative or new stickers? Anyone fit new stickers?
Thx
look on ebay for vinyl wraps in automotive. there are some really cool options (camouflage, chrome, carbon fiberetc.) just stay w/3m or avery. the others don't work so well.
