Title: NO spark HELP
Post by: zombiecustoms on September 16, 2015, 07:25:59 PM
Hello I am working on a 94 gs500e.  I have no spark in the left cylinder. The pigtail at the coil has a constant 11.5-12 volts and I bought a couple of used coils and swapped them in but no change.  My question is does having constant voltage at the coil mean that the cdi is good?  And where do I go from here?  I redid the grounds and swapped coils like I said but no spark.  I am testing with an in line spark tester.

Ooo sorry - but good you got it figured out.
GS CDI's rarely burn out. Its not an early 80's Yamaha. LOL.
Cool.
