Title: Vance and hines ignition advancer owners. Please read!
Post by: Shemagh on September 17, 2015, 11:54:55 AM
Hello.  Anyone, who have ignition advacer, can you take exact measurements of it? Schematics would be better. I believe it´s not hard to make it with CNC. So if someone could make a model with Solidworks, Solidedge or autocad, it would be awesome and you will have my eternal gratitude

Sorry dude, I´m from Estonia, so probably shipping that would be more expensive. I just need measurements. I probably can make model in Solidworks. Like the only difference is that cut?

I would imagine, not having see a vance and hines rotor that the only difference would be the key way in the back of the back of the rotor. It would be easier, cheaper and more convenient to just slot the holes on the backing plate. That way you can mess around with the timing rather than be stuck in one position.
