So my bike has been at a dealer for a few weeks now trying to get it fixed. So far it's been a really bad experience, and I think they are robbing me of my money somewhat. I was about to go in tomorrow to complain and take my bike back, but now I got a job lined up elsewhere and I can move away really soon and don't really have time to take it somewhere else. Do dealers ever buy bike's that need work? How does this work exactly?
Yeah, they will buy it..... for scrap value. Basically, they are in the position to tell you "your bike needs X amount of money to be fixed, and we've already done Y amount of money to get it where it's at."
X + Y = more than what your bike is worth. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
You can shaft them by moving out of state not giving them the title and re registering it in your new state - maybe by getting a title less bike types.
But yes Big Rich is right.
GS'es in winter are basically worthless. a g would get you a running titled bike, and even less without title. Now please don't tell me you're in Arizona.

Well it's actually a 08' cbr600rr. I wouldn't want to actually do that thing you said, but would I possibly be able to threaten to do that, or would that not work out? They screwed me so....
Naaa you're probably gonna have to pay and get it back ...
But on the bright side, CBR600's and the 1000's are far more common on the arhem arhem ... un titled market. The trick is to find them. Once you do that, you're practically home free.
