Hey guys just hoping that I can ask about an electrical issue I'm having.
2 days ago the bike wouldn't start and the battery went flat after a few seconds of trying to start it.
I charged the battery and then it started fine again. When I rev the bike the battery volts go from 12.5 to 13.5 showing that it is getting charge. Got home last night and today I checked the battery it was at 12.11 volts. I checked the battery about 6 hours later and now it's at 12 volts.
Is this issue most likely to be the battery? I ask because the battery is only about 6 months old

Always try with a good known battery first. Can save much heartache.
12 volts is essentially a dead battery. It should be in the high 12 volt region.
