Well sort of...maybe a 1/2 miles stone? Or a half milestone? Or a half fast milestone?
I know there are some 100K's out there so this is wimpy by comparison...But 50K in 5 years..not too shabby...more than most...less than a few...
'09 GS500 bought new in '10...Stock, except clubman bars...LED's in instruments, and GPS unit...
Routine maintenance only! (By the book)
...no issues whatsoever!!!! Runs like new!

:woohoo:
Nice, hope she goes another 50,000 for you!!!
That's the plan...
With 50K miles...I figure the resale value is about near nil...so I may as well run it till it dies!
BTW...my test for "value" in a vehicle is the "10 cents per mile rule"...
The purchase price...plus any MAJOR repairs... should cost you less than 10 cents for every mile you run that vehicle...(you don't count routine maintenance, oil, gas, etc)
So right now the GS is at 8 cents a mile! Pretty good!

I have almost put 2000km on my bike since I got it end of August.
I am approaching 50000! The bike is just nicely broken in.

Oh is your odometer in Miles not Km's? Right! I anticipated the conversion scale on the speedo, but I assumed the odometer was in metric because of the Japanese manufacture. Right, US of A! In Canada that is pronounced US of A, eh?
You guys are show offs with your extra 60%, and your exchange compared with the Canadian Dollar, extra 33%...
We have you beat however on some things, Zombie Apocalypse for example. There is never any zombie viruses in Canada according the media, TV and movies. It all happens in the US. Likely because it is too damned cold in Canada and viruses don't get a chance to take hold.

So there was this fresh country up north, but they didn't have a name for it. So the president, or prime minister, or whoever it is up there, got a hat with all the letters of the alphabet inside.
He reaches in, pulls out a letter, and shows it to the audience and live nation wide camera feed, "C, eh!"
Reaching in again, "N, eh!"
And for the 'final' letter, "D, eh!"
And so it was: CANADA!
Ha, ha, ha....(gag) ;)
