Title: No longer parting out motorcycle
Post by: Matty206 on December 11, 2015, 04:16:21 PM
Hey yall, I got a running GS500 I'm looking to part out and sell.
I took it apart to paint the frame matte black but sadly I don't have the time to put it back together. The only things I'm missing are tail plastics. I'll put up some pics later.

If ya want something shoot me a PM!

Where are you located Matty?

In my experience, it takes much longer to part out a bike (completely) than it does to assemble it. And it's much easier to sell a running bike when it's assembled.

I'm out in Seattle. I figured I could get more money if I parted it out.

I could use the grommet, special nut and bolt etc whatever to hang the exhaust in the rear.
Muffler.
I also have a bashed gas tank - black.
Hmmm. Brake reservoir cover.

I'm looking for the hardware to mount the front fender and the frame mounted petcock.

Thanks!
