Hi guys,
Removed my wheels a few days ago to get new tyres put back on. Just wondering if,
1: Anyone knows the correct position for the speedometer cable that attaches to the front wheel. I noticed theres a couple notches, one being on the fork.

2. Which way does the sprocket go when sliding it into position? I noticed on the sprocket, one side it completely flat, the other has a raised sections.
I couldnt find anything i the manual.. heres a couple of pics of the sprocket..

While on the subject of front sprocket.. mine feels like its not snug fit, it sort of rattles and moves a bit.. hard to explain I might record some video.. maybe its wearing out..

Notch on speedometer hub goes behind the notch on the fork slider to keep it from turning ccw with wheel. Front sprocket hub goes inward.

Flat side out, raised side inward. The raised part on the inside is more commonly referred to as a hub or shoulder. It provides for more engagement between the sprocket and shaft splines.

Ended up buying a new sprocket today, the old one felt quite sloppy when installed on the shaft... so got a new JT 15T just in-case.. cost $17.95.. quite surprised, was much cheaper than i expected.

wow.. the left pic doesn't look too healthy.. :confused: .. luckily, mine didn't look anywhere close to that.. looked alright to me. I installed the new (15t) sprocket.. much nicer fit.. will finish the rest of the bike and take it for a test ride..
