This is currently my third attempt at this. The first two attempts, i was just too damn busy to make anything happen. This attempt, I could really use the money, so that's a decent motivator lol. So without further ado, here is my story:
A couple year back, I had a 2005 GS500F. Long story short, it developed a weird engine clanking noise. Removed the engine and swapped in a working 04 engine. Disassembled the clanking engine as per the haynes manual. Literally followed every step. Found nothing weird in the engine that seems like it could have caused the issue. Slightly scored rod bearing was the only thing we found. That being said, I meant to go in and reassemble this engine with the rebuild kit I ordered and I guess sell it off. Never got around to it. That brings us to today. Every part was stored in ziploc bags and labeled with the step # that required its removal. Obviously this wasn't possible with some of the larger parts. They were wrapped in plastic bags to semi preserve them from the air. All of these parts are currently sitting in a military grade suitcase (its very heavy) and has been in there for a couple of years now.
All that being said, Id like to sell it off, as is, disassembled. Id like to do the entire thing at one time. If you are interested, please let me know. There were a couple of guys who contacted me last time and I am very sorry I never got back to you. I promise you I will respond promptly with anything you require. Ill also try to get some pictures up at some point soon.

If i could realistically afford it, id be on that for the monopod trike project. shippingwise its not terribly far. to the OP, is this a pickup only? or is shipping possible? im in 37716. baah im being unrealistic. as mentioned though price total would help, or price itemised, or shipping. need details my friend. if youre willing to part it out, you may actually make more overall. btw pics DO help. (photobucket or ,tinypic or whatnot.)if unable to post pics yet, i may be able to host them on my pb acct for you.

hey thank for the advice guys. What would you consider a good price? i can get some pics up later today. I'm not trying to make a ton, just a decently fair amount. What would it take for one of you guys to buy? Its just sitting here like it has been so any money is better than no money lol.
Unassembled engine. $250 in my mind. Lots of labor to get it back right, shipping will be high, and no offense, but how does anyone know you didn't need something up when you took it apart, or maybe missed the trite reason for the clanging you described. I'm trying to be realistic.
$250 would be the high end of what I think it could be worth. There is no guarantee it will run without a lot of investigation or at all.
