Title: Cam chain slack
Post by: bentom on March 08, 2016, 01:20:30 PM
Hi,
pls help me!

The chain tensioner is only so much tension . But the tension works well . The chain is not long (20 pin 149-150mm )
This is normal slack? Or weak the chain tension spring ?

Sry for my bad English. :dunno_white:

There should be very little slack in the cam chain.

I understand.
The ability to be a weak spring ? Because this tension will only be left when tensioning the CCT
The CCT only 30.000km worked.

That looks pretty normal to me.
That is not really "slackness" or "freeplay". It is just the rollers moving a little on their pins.
Mine is about the same and is no problem at all.
