Title: is this rear shock any good for my GS?

just a post to see if this shock is worth getting or if it will fit my GS

This gs500 has a gixer6 k6 rear shock

It won't be a straight swap though. You will need to grind and chop a bit

i think il give that one a miss due to needing a home made dog bone(s)

You don't have to make them yourself.There are commercially available lowering dog bones.

Also you might want and additional inch in ride height.  I raised my bike this way and it fits my body better.

i wanted to go for the R6 shock but cant find one for a reasonable price

so is any gsxr 600/750 shock pretty much the same from k1 to k6?

im just looking at my options when searching on ebay uk for a shock upgrade
