After messing my gauge cluster up pretty bad I am looking at getting a Trailtech Vapor to replace the speedo/tach and I have a couple questions you folks may be able to help me with.
First, does anyone have mounting measurements, 50$ for a dash bracket seems crazy to me when it doesn't have to be much, I'm thinking I can get a buddy to fab me one but I can't find any info on how it actually mounts, pics/measurements would be huge! I'd be happy to send out models/drawings of whatever I came up with for the community to utilize, might even be able to batch a few and mail them out if you guys wanted.
Second, I noticed they have a fin mounting temp sensor which seems perfect for the GS. I'll likely be getting this one but if anyone's used it I'd love to here from you.
Last I have read I'll need to make sure I get the resistor added cable for the tach, is that included in certain packages or is it extra? any other details/parts I'll need to get this rig mounted?
