Title: Farewell GS500ites
Post by: harristweed on May 15, 2016, 12:12:22 PM
Sold my GS500F yesterday to a nice guy. Referred him to gstwins.com. This is one of the most awesome forums I've had available to me. 99% of the internet is freaking horrible, but places like this redeem it. Thanks to everyone for the help they've given me over the course of two different GS500s.

Everyone ride safe.

BTW, I found that my 43 year old body couldn't take the riding position anymore. I caught a cramp in my hips every time I rolled the throttle on hard. Bought a Honda CB500x. Feels a bit like a scooter, but more comfortable.

Farewell!

I agree, so far I've really had a good experience here. I like the enthusiasm people have for these fun little bikes.

Safe journey! Just remember.. Even if you don't have a GS. You can still post up and relate you're experiences :)

I certainly haven't left after switching teams, lol.

Fellow CB rider here, but I have the naked version.
Great bikes.  Very GS like.  No doubt if Suzuki decided to advance the GS they'd be making something nearly identical.
