Funny was thinking of you guys today! Yesterday Flick got some new levers and the gold looks smashing if I do say so myself. Which brought me to my heel guards and chain guard that Adidasguy gifted me in 2013 every time I look at Flick I see all the love he showed to me and my noble steed. That used to bring me to tears and I had a hard time riding old boy (he's 12 now). But, I know that's not how he would want me to remember him. So, I'm going around town looking for a place to have those pieces powder coated gold to look a lot nicer and I believe Flick will become a memorial to him and his love for the GS500 I know for sure even though my cardiologist says I should give up riding that I will never get rid of Flick.
So, I'm hoping to be on the board a bit more often to get the old boy up to the standards that Adidasguy would have wanted him at. Yes, I may very well become a parts whore to get there but I think that's what he would do!
