Title: Ignition Limiting??

Ignition Limiting??   :dunno_black:

Hi guys, wondering if any of you guys have played with ignition limiting on the GS500e, I'm not looking at it for any other specific purpose other than making cool noises, making a café racer project, with open pipes. Not sure if it can be done etc, hence me asking the Brains Trust of this awesome forum!
AND yes Im aware of potential damage and issues that come from limiter bashing, just not sure if this can be done?

What exactly are you trying to do? The GS has a pretty high red line for a motor basically designed in the late 70's..... so the only rev limiter are physical limitations. You'll lose HP and torque past the rated limits, and the valves will start to "float" beyond that.

Looking to make loud bangs and shoot the odd flame, open pipes and pods, but at a lower (switch set) rpm, not all the way at the top end.
Purpose, for photoshoot and meets and general mischievousness!

Just thumb the kill switch off and on again?
