Title: Battery tray bolt
Post by: G.Rossman on July 02, 2016, 06:43:09 PM
What are the specs on the bolt that goes into the battery tray from under the rear fender?  I had it sitting out to take and look for a replacement and it has gone MIA.  It was rounded and corroded so it needed to be replaced.

I lost that bolt too.

It was an M6X1.0, it was a shorty probably 12mm in length.  Had a flange and a washer.

Partzilla has this image:

Thanks for the reply.  On my way to work this morning I have it one more look, found it under my suv tire in the garage.  Need a replacement that won't corrode like this one did.

That m6x1.0 is the correct screw.  Of course people stole all those and left empty bags at the Lowe's I went to at least the ones that had the washer attatched.  So I got a small bag of stainless bolts and washers to use.  Should do the trick and not rust anymore.
