Title: Parting out '93 GS500E
Post by: jjmaine on July 18, 2016, 10:20:29 AM
I am parting out this bike.  I bought it for a good price and have done some work to it so It will run but not smoothly.  I just don't have the time to dedicate to it and I already have 2 bikes that run perfectly.  Just trying to get my money back on this one.  All the electrical works except the oil light but I think that's due to a blown bulb.  I did rebuild the carbs with K&N kits but I am sure they could use another good cleaning.  The gas tank I found on ebay, it came off a 2009.  There is one dent in it but no rust at all.  It only has 4000 miles on it but sadly the previous owner left it outside in the weather for too long.  The last registration is 2010

If there is anything you want I'm sure we can work out a fair price + shipping.  It may take me a day or two to ship at first because I will be taking the bike apart as I go.  Thanks!

Sold so far:

Seat
Hand controls
Gauge cluster

As always, you must host pictures on a different site like imgur or photobucket, then post the link here.

Kidzuki, pm me your email and I can send you pics of everything.  I'd rather you see it first to be sure you want everything because the guage cluster has a crack in it.  What exactly do you mean by hand controls?

Nevermind, I know what you mean now... How about $45 shipped for both side hand controls, gauge cluster and starter relay?  The cluster has a crack on the right side black plastic, not on the face of the gauge.

I will try to upload pictures to a different site so I can add them here, never tried it before but it cant be that hard...

I think you may be better off finding an engine closer to home?  Sorry I just wouldnt know how to begin trying to ship an entire engine and the shipping would probably be outrageous.

I think , USPS ground , shipping  between 80 - 120$   to 33325 , no problem .

Example shipping image but with more small wooden base
