Title: Charging question
Post by: MSP on August 09, 2016, 08:32:44 AM
Hi all, greetings from Finland. I've been reading the forums for a long time but never registered. Now I though I could use some of your help with the charging issue I have. Basically the charging is not working at all and kills my battery. I have done the testing according to your how to topic: http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=38480.0

From below link you can find my measurement results.

Basically only measurement I got bad result was the stator output voltage. Somewhere from the internet I found another values telling that my voltage was still within the acceptable limit. So, should I start looking for a new stator or what would be the next check I could do?

Thanks for your help!

If the battery is good, its either the stator or the regulator/rectifier. Sometimes electrical problems only show up at certain operating temperatures, so might test OK at idle. I would just start replacing parts of the charging system.
