Does anyone out there own an icon helet?  I was wondering how the weight / noise / quality compared to an HJC?

I own the Icon Alliance Helmet.  I like it.  I really don't have anything to compare it to.  It is my first helmet.  The face sheild is real easy to remove.  You cannot remove the inside padding to wash.  I believe that you can on the Icon Mainframe.  The top vent makes a whistling noise at slow speeds.  You can correct this by going fast. Ha- Ha- Ha  :mrgreen:

Well one saved my brothers life.  He T-boned an SUV that cut him of at ~ 40mph  and just got a concussion.

(sorry I dont know about how he liked it though)

what about the flat black one they sell, as far as keeping it clean? :dunno:

I also have an Icon Alliance Aggressor.  I have been really happy with it.  I believe HJC makes the helmets for Icon so I would assume that they are very similar (look at the shield system).  I also can't comment on how they compare to other brands because this is my first helmet as well.

I just use the spray Honda polish and it works wonders to keep the helmet clean, smooth and shiny :thumb:
