What ???? no, should also have water and soot. Cos these are all combustion by products.
But, well, how much ? Little drops when cold and nearly none when hot is OK, more is bad.

If its like pouring out without even starting the bike - you obviously are the new Saudi Arabia.

Cool.

I pours out badly I was told I had a problem with my carbs not sure how true it is. The bike ran fine last summer

Check your oil level, if it's way up fuel may have leaked in from the carburettor(s).
Could happen if the petcock was left on prime and one or both float needle seats wasn't sealing properly.
Change the oil after sorting the problem.

I resently just bought new carbs and I had a leaky petcock. The petcock was leaking from the part you turn it from on to prime. Do you think that played a part in it? Also I just drained the oil and it was gas in there as well. How can I fix this problem?

If the petcock is leaking you could try disassembling and cleaning, otherwise replace it.(turn the tank petcock off first before pulling fuel lines etc.
Check the condition of the hoses while you are there. There was a thread just recently where the petcock diaphragm was leaking fuel into the vacuum system of the left carburetor.

There are plenty of threads on this in this forum, so do a search. Third sticky down in the General GS500 Discussion page is all about carburetors with lots of pics and links.

I can't say whether the petcock is the cause of the original issue, but sort that out first then work your way in to the carbs if necessary.
Were they new?

It's a breather, not an overflow. It's there to prevent pressure build up inside the engine.

An Oily film residue is normal on older bikes but if it's dripping oil it's a sign of engine wear. If fuel is coming out you have got major problems, surely the whole thing isn't full of gas??!!

Replace float needles and seats in the carburetors and fix the fuel petcock. Problem solved.
