Holy' Herman Munster' Barman!! :thumb:
Then I just threw some paint on it so I could ride. I was a little excited.

Sorry for multiple post this is all new to me. It was a weird bike whit I got it but I had plans to change the subframe when I got it so I wasn't worried.
I welded some metal on so I could bolt on a 07 gsxr seat.(http://rs1380.pbsrc.com/albums/ah176/danielmayer91/Mobile%20Uploads/20160702_120624_zpszkz89q8g_edit_1472487947352_zpsailh4ie1.jpg?w=480&h=480&fit=clip) also made a table light as cheap as I could so I could ride again. And the under tail pan.i made it all out of aluminum.
Then I went to a katana rear wheel and got rid of the guages and put some clip ons on. (http://rs1380.pbsrc.com/albums/ah176/danielmayer91/Mobile%20Uploads/20160902_182407_zpsbkweyxfo.jpg?w=480&h=480&fit=clip)

I think this takes the most retarded exhaust ever award.
Cool.
Buddha.
That is the most hideous ruination of a perfectly good bike I've ever seen. That's just criminal.
You paid money for that?
You asked. :dunno_black:

Yeah, go for it.
While the tiny tail isn't really my style, I will say that, with what you have done to the bike, it looks better than it did when you bought it. The new paintjob, getting rid of that weird exhaust, etc. All much better than how you got it. If I were you, I would either paint the tank to match that new rear wheel, or paint the wheel to match the tank.
To reiterate Torstein's point, while the bike isnt really my style, its definitely unique and it seems like you're having a good time with it, so more power to you. The only person's opinion about your bike that really matters is your own. If you dig it, then keep doin you mate.

The bike is far from what it was when I got it. I only paid $500 for it an had way more than $500 worth of fun on it. The guy said exhaust was a old ford v8 header. The tail. Is now a 07 gsxr seat without the tail from a friends wrecked bike. And the wheel I just got and put on the day I took that picture didn't even have brakes or rearsets on it as I was doin cbr rearsets and my katana wheel at the same time. U won't hurt my feelings I ask cus I would like to know. When I go out with my friends on new bike I get more attention than they do and they spent 5000 on theirs. And just about all the attention is good seems the only ones than don't like it are my friends.
Since no one like the back of my bike how about a shot of the front
(http://rs1380.pbsrc.com/albums/ah176/danielmayer91/Mobile%20Uploads/20161002_173753_zpsbqnpudw5.jpg?w=480&h=480&fit=clip)
I know it's dirty. (http://rs1380.pbsrc.com/albums/ah176/danielmayer91/Mobile%20Uploads/20161002_173848_zpsjvrpqegn_edit_1475445997369_zps56ovncnh.jpg?w=480&h=480&fit=clip)
And my katana wheel swap if anyone is interested

Put some knobbies on it and it would look like a mad max bike.
Its not a bike I would ever ride, but it is interesting and looks way better than when you bought it. That is the nice thing about a $500 bike, you don't feel any pressure to make it look a certain way.
Thank you and Yeah I didn't mind cutting a bike that was already hacked. That was the biggest reason I got it there was no way I could make it worse. I do plan to get some on off tires for it some shinko 705s or 805s.
Well I'm gonna put myself out there and admit that I kinda liked that crazy exhaust :icon_eek:
...but keep in mind that this is also coming from the girl who drives around a Ninja Turtle van almost daily so lmao :icon_rolleyes:
Granted it's not really... idk... practical? No... healthy? Haha I'm tired from working on said van for like 10 hours today... but yeah all the fumes and heat going up towards the rider, especially in traffic... and it didn't look finished/polished etc... but yeah I liked the look..!!
Can't wait to see more of what you do!!! Have any plans for a front fender? I ran my GS without one for a while years ago and I hated it... dirt, rain, stones etc... ugh I eventually just made a custom fender that I did like the look of and it keeps my engine clean.
Ooooo I see awesome potential for a chainguard/hugger combo too. I'm getting ready to modify and install the Bandit 400 hugger soon but for your bike (since you swapped in the Katana wheel) maybe the Bandit 600 hugger would fit. I think that's what the Wiki says but don't quote me on that :embarassed:
Well, I just think you should just sit on it, (the zorst), with luck it might blow in a few brain cells! :flipoff:
Showbiz your bike is lookin good too. The guy I got the bike from was very proud of that exhaust was his favorite part of the bike. he built it and he rode it and he was the only one that had to like it. I don't plan to put a front fender on I chopped the original on but still didn't like. Fender or not I try my best to not ride in the rain. I do want to fit a chain guard/hugger I read about the bandit 600 but never got a for sure it will fit. But for what one costs I would be better off making my own with a little fiberglass then I know it fits.
As for joolstacho I am brain cell deficient and I'll thank u not to mention it. Some would say anyone who would buy a 500cc motorcycle or a motorcycle with no fairings is pretty low on brain cells. It's a good thing we don't care about negative things people say right? :flipoff:

Who ever said that is the one who is the one who's low on brain cells...
500cc and under motos are hands down the best bikes for beginners (not to mention, some people just like the simplicity of most small-displacement engines lol)
As for fairings, while I personally like my bikes with fairings, there are literally millions of riders who love their non-faired bikes...
@Get Scared... thanks for checking out my bike and for the kind words  Awesome that you're thinking about a chainguard/hugger. I'm pretty good with fiberglass myself but I managed to find a Bandit hugger on ebay a while back for ~$40... and I've got too many other projects going right now to take on making one from scratch... but if you do omg I can't wait to see it, I love stuff like that :D
@qc... I agree with what you said about 500cc bikes... and I'd say I like the look of fairings and no fairings equally. Someday in the future (when my van's fixed for the winter and I've got my project car done) I'd like to further dive into my ideas for side fairings for my GS that are super easy to take off and on... somehow attaching to frame sliders or crash bars... and not attached to the nose fairing on my bike because it turns with the handlebars... sorry, rambling lol... back to the topic of the thread !!
Qcbaker I agree I love my bike I will never get rid of it and i hate fairings. my friends all had 600s and 750s as starter bikes and look down on my 500 because I can't do 160 on but I have plenty of fun on it. I don't need a fast bike just to ride.
Showbiz when I get something done I will post some pictures. I was about to buy a 400 hugger on ebay a wile back for 40 buck but I missed out on it. then I decided to do the wheel swap since the hugger was half what the wheel swap would have cost me.

600-750cc sportbikes are definitely not what I would recommend as a beginner bike... The way those bikes lay down power, a mistake that would've just made your heart skip on a 250/500 could end up killing you. Your friends are lucky they haven't hurt themselves.
Small detail swapping to cbr rearsets and thought I would put some "speed holes" in the brake lever and shifter. The brake lever would have fot more hole but there are spring hooks welded to the inside of it that I didn't want to show.
