Title: Head and tail light not working - everything else is.
Post by: UKGS on October 21, 2016, 03:01:21 PM
Hello GSTwin'ers.

New here, but not to biking. I'm currently running through a rapid resto of a '93 GS500 that I bought off eBay for £250.

It's obviously had a bit of a life so there's been a few things to sort. Light at the end of the tunnel now though.

My latest issue is that everything electrical works apart from the head and tail lights. Indicators are fine. Brake lights are fine. Horn, starter, idiot lights etc. All fine. Just not the head / tail lights.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

I would start at the switch.
Make sure you have a voltage going to it.......think its on the orange
And then make sure there is voltage coming out when its in the on position.......can't remember the colour.

Update: Nice one, that's the bike's electrics sorted. Thanks Sledge :thumb:

Tomorrow I'll try to sort the fuelling.
