Title: GS500 with VFR400 SSSA
Post by: Sneakerfreak on October 23, 2016, 01:53:24 AM
Hey guys.  New on here, but from what I've read, seems to be the best forum for GS500's.

I've recently bought (don't know if bought is right word as it cost £180) and decided to cafe racer her as she's in such good condition frame and engine wise.

Now, part of the project is to fix a VFR400 sssa.  Any one done this before???????

Thanks.

Personally I don't believe the frame is strong enough in stock form to accept a sssa and that's before all the usual issues, pivot spacing, shock mounting, chain alignment, geometry etc. However anything is possible if you have the resources.

Take plenty of pics and keep us updated, I will be very interested to see this done.
