As you see by the topic name, what do you want or desire to have?
me, im wanting a blade foot. but thats not going to happen. the foot im getting the blade can be added to. ANYHOO, what im really wanting is a sock monkey kit. so i can use it as a p0rosthetic cover. tbh ill end up with socks and underwear lol. ( extremely useful)
Anyhoo, post your wishes or desires. after the 25th, we'll update it with what you actually recieved..

I asked for a variety of things... new windshield mounted antennas, one for my van and one for my car, new rear springs for my car, a quart of Por15, some new tank tops, some FatMat for my car, fleece lined jeans, Home Depot gift card... and I always end up getting a set of Legos (yes... Legos lol... I put the set together and then after a few weeks take it apart and put it in my huge collection of parts)... some beer and beef jerky :icon_mrgreen:
But I also really enjoy the time with my parents as well as my mom's awesome food!! It's my turn to work on Christmas day this year but I should be outta there by noon. Will be going to church on Christmas eve
I could actually use some new boxers and socks. I'm really looking forward to spending time with my family for a bit, I hate my housemates and it's exhausting not cutting them! I'm looking forward to the food, I've been eating different variations of toast for nearly 3 weeks now and I can't get bike stuff because no-one knows I've got my little pig...
Some new cleaning stuff would be useful, I'm almost out of degreaser, brake cleaner and shampoo.
I can't really ask for anything because my parents have bought my mam a new car and they're giving me her old one, so that alone is really more than enough.
O0
A new (to you) ride!!! How spiffy!!! That's awesome. My uncle gave me my Spirit back in 2005 for Christmas... it needed a lot of work and I was totally up to the challenge. 11 years later and I still adore that car. Won some awards at the Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle PA with it too over the years :icon_mrgreen:
Woot toot for getting degreaser and brake cleaner... and there's nothing like a new pair of socks
I'm a very lucky guy! More so than I deserve to be perfectly honest :dunno_black:
My housemates won't be happy if I get more cleaner, my house stinks of it atm, with the refurb of Sookie and the low temps and lack of light in the garage, the smaller jobs are done in the house. :icon_lol:
But maybe if they made more of an effort to treat my home with a tiny bit of respect and cleared up after themselves then I'd limit the amount of bike work I do in the house. Then again probably not :flipoff:
O0
Black socks, slim fit undershirts, and underwear :dunno_black:. God, I feel so old because that is really all I want lol... I guess I also want a new decal set for my left fairing and a new rear tire for the Buell I bought my gf, but I'll have to get those things myself.
I'm not really doing Christmas the way we normally do this year. I'm going to visit family in Missouri (I'm in PA) so there'll be quite a bit of travel over my holidays. To be honest, I'd much rather just sit at home playing video games and looking at pictures of bikes I cant afford lol.
A new holster for my Ruger LCP and a new gym bag. I have a hard time asking for Christmas gifts because when I need something I typically go out and get it...and if I don't, then it probably costs more than what most people are going to spend on me for Christmas...
We have a huge family with a ton of people to buy for, so my wife and I don't typically exchange gifts. We've got a 4 year old little boy, and a little girl who will be 2 in March, so they're SO excited for this Christmas. It will be a good one, that's for sure.
I just want enough good weather and time off to finish building my deck and pergola. A really nice extra gift would be to get that done quickly so I can also finish building my in-home pub before New Year's Eve, since I'd really like to have a NY party in the pub AND on the deck :thumb:
To get those two things to happen will require some people to help me. If I am on my own I'll get all of this done by New Year's Eve, 2017.
But truthfully I will be quite happy if my family get what they wanted for Christmas and we can have some time to spend together hanging out, playing games, watching movies and doing the kinds of things we do. I don't need anything at all.

I agree with this, for sure. I am blessed with a good enough job (and a thrifty nature lol) so when it comes time to buy something I normally can just get it for myself. My parents still make a big thing about Christmas, always asking my brother and I what we would like. I'm gonna be 30 in February and my brother is 37 but that doesn't stop them from buying us several things to unwrap. :spoiled:
I don't have a family of my own except for my 3 cats ;) and I'm single so... I don't have a hundred people to buy for which is nice!! And I don't have to go to 18 different houses and spend time with in-laws and grandparents etc so I'm thankful my holidays are pretty low stress.
My problem is the same like rscott and ShowBiz except I also don't have many hobbies and the ones I get into I REALLY get into. So even if someone thinks they're getting me something I'll enjoy it usually misses the mark.
Like, for a few years my job was a Liquor Consultant. I was into whiskey. I worked at a liquor store. If I wanted a whiskey I bought it, if one didn't interest me I didn't.
I'd open a whiskey for x-mas. And aside from me usually being like "Oh, just regular old Buffalo Trace. Yeah, I already have like a dozen whiskeys that kick this one's butt" I'd also know exactly what it was worth.
BAD GIFT. But I smile and say thanks.
Firearm stuff? Too expensive and not everyone has the proper IDs to even buy ammo.
Moto stuff? With apparel I am very particular on size and appearance and I am very anal about things like luggage and grips and such so aside from, like, a bungee net or other useless crap like that it's a no go.
Computer games? I used to get games as gifts that I already owned, or ended up just not liking, and with games all mostly being cloud based it's kind of hard to wrap up and gift a bunch of ones and zeros...
So gift cards, as emotionless as I think they are when I give them, are the best thing I can receive.
What do I actually WANT?
... Cash?
A new pair of Moto jeans?
Bluetooth for my bike so I can load a race ECM?
Tickets to Rogue One?
I love getting gift cards! There's a place here in town where you can sell them if it's a place you don't go to... but most of the time I can use whatever it's for.
My parents know that I pretty much never treat myself to fast food or restaurant food. I'd rather buy things to make home improvements, bike improvements, beer... lol so a Taco Bell or Applebees gift card is like omg YAS for me :D
Ya know, there's nothing that I really "want" for Christmas this year. I bought a new bicycle a couple months ago, and we agreed that it was an early Christmas present. I'm sure I'll be getting some clothes and stuff though.....
My son will be 5 in March, so this is the first year that he really understands what is going on (or at least he's showing excitement for it). I have to say, that is probably the best gift yet.....
ddammit showbiz you brought up 2 things lol. the insulatted pants. i cant find them in east tn. i was given a pair of insulated wranglers ( slightly used) from a former churchmate. OOOOOHHHHHH SO COMFY. he got them while living in utah. tbh he just movved back there go figure lol. but legos. i WANT legos. dang i want legos. i want to build a pc case out of legos. using mostly the simple standard 2x4 legos. assortted colours. need a couple hundred to complete that task though. also around 50 2x2 legos. no about 25 of those. i had asked for a gift card ( visa or mc type) so i can order a sock monkey kit for my first prosthetic cover. or if bcbs denies the leg. i can use it for knee scooter parts. or i can build the sock monkey as needed err as originally designed. there are other things i spose i could figure i wish to have lol. but being middle aged (seems 41 almost 42 is middle aged accd to hosp.) socks and underwear i actually desire. can NEVER have too much of that Eh? i believe ill bump this say midweek and see if everyone made out as desired. ehh no say a week from sunday to allow for shipping delays.
Aaron
The Boscov's in the mall here in town has the fleece lined jeans! And the last time I checked they were available on the website too! And I'm glad I'm not the only one who still enjoys Legos :icon_mrgreen:
heck i may end up in coatesville PA before too long. ( had friend offer to rent me a room in his place, and insurance would be easier to acquire.) actually tbh id rather get my prosthetic leg for christmas. THAT would make my day. ill know if blue cross sends me the approval letter.
but im addicted to legos. when i was able to get around id hit thrift stores for legos.

That's exciting - my boy will be 5 in May, so I know exactly what you mean. If you've never seen the NORAD Santa Tracker, check it out. http://www.noradsanta.org/ (http://www.noradsanta.org/) I bet he'll get a kick out of it on Christmas Eve.
Come to think of it, I could probably use one of these:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/antsylabs/fidget-cube-a-vinyl-desk-toy
I am constantly fidgeting with my pens at work and dropping them all the time. This would give me something to occupy my hands when I'm not typing.
I have no clue :dunno_black: I have a hard time thinking of anything. It's not like I already have everything, I just have simple needs and wants. Still, I wish it was as easier to come up with a Christmas list. This year I'll be getting new tires on my SUV (gift to myself) but not because I want them.....I just need them. Some good beer and snacks would be perfect. And, if you're out there listening Santa, I've been a good boy. So if you have an extra early 70's Corvette feel free to park it in my driveway.
For those of you that have kids check this out. My son is absolutely dumbfounded by this every year. You upload your kids pic, their Christmas list, and any other info you like. Santa then creates a personalized email with video and sends it to your kid.

You would think someone in a certain town in alaska ( north pole AK) could have a pretty good gig around this time every year.

I like this thread
Even though I don't have any children I did get an angel off the angel tree at my church. They are little paper angels that say something like "boy, age 7, winter coat, size ___" or "girl, age 4, Disney Princesses toy" etc. You can take one, buy the gift, wrap it up and return it to the church with the angel attached to it and then they give it out. I don't know how the church actually gets the requests for the items but it's really not for me to know lol.
I picked one for a 5 year old boy (keeping with the theme I guess!) that said shirt and pants so I got him a cool Ninja Turtles hooded shirt, some jogging style pants with an orange stripe on the side and (because we all remember what it was like growing up to get clothes... ick!) I got him a little toy sportbike and put that in the box too 8)

Ha.....my mother in law had something similar at her church. She went to pick a name off the tree but didn't have her reading glasses. She assumed she would be getting a gift for a child, but when she was able to read the card she found out she had to get clothes for a 20 year old guy.
Oh: thanks for the links R Scott & Pliskin!
if i recall around here at least, people would sign their kids up early fall. for the trees. MOST of the time it was on the honor system. i.e. you didnt have to prove you were in need for your kids. some places however via food stamp offices would sign the kids up ( with proof )
Aaron.
lol just thought of something a prosthetic cover made to look like a turkey drumstick cartoonish style. ala flintstones.
Aaron
Yeah, I see a lot of those "giving" tree tags with requests for expensive items, or accessories for expensive items (i.e. video games). I'm really careful about the ones I pick up.
can always pick up the pricy one and bring back socks and underwear ;)
Aaron
There were indeed a few of those angels on the tree this year. I was kinda taken aback really because it's the first time (that I know of) where there were video games and expensive things being asked for. Times sure are a changin' I guess...... :dunno_black:
and i guarantee you, if they got socks and underwear theyd bit*h about it. if youre on one of those things, odds are parents financial situation is rather bleak. one should request accordingly imho. i.e. dont expect an xbox. hell my situation is fin. bleak. id not even consider asking for something of that level. its all about prioriities. heck if i were to ask of something of that level, it would be insulin pump supplies lol.
Aaron
Soo its close enough to start the next phase of this thread.
soooooooooo whadja get?

Clothes that mostly didn't fit, some gift cards, a breakfast sammich machine I won't use, an iced coffee brewer (legit), a bottle of High West Double Rye, and a bottle of Booker's Straight Bourbon.
see it all works together ;) ill 'splain. you shouldnt drink on an empty stomach hence the sammich maker cant legally take a coctail on the road hence the iced coffee machine, the gift cards along with the clothing if played right,. you can end up with something you can use . provided you dont go shopping piss drunk lol.

Are you Bernard Purdy?
Haha, well, it would be more understandable if it was all from the same people.
The clothes that didn't fit were from my mother who I only moved away from in the last 3 years (how could she forget I wear L/XL and get me mediums?), the breakfast machine was also from her (from Middle school until the day I moved out I don't think I've ever made breakfast, and rarely even ate in the morning).
The gift card isn't for the same place as I got the clothes and cooker, so I can't combine the amounts into something amazing, unfortunately.
The coffee maker is from my sister and its legit.
The High West was from my cousin when we all exchanged gifts on the Eve.
The Booker's I got in grab-bag.
So... My cousins, extended family I haven't seen in years and sister I only recently reconnected with know me better than my mother who I've lived with for something like 24 years.
I got all of what I asked for and some extras :D
Watcher I know how that feels... in the email I wrote to my mom giving her my Christmas list (which she always wants from both my brother and myself each year) I specifically told her I have too many black tank tops and too many gray ones... I'd like to have some different colors and Walmart has maroon, navy blue and like an olive green... so please get me some of those. Yeah I unwrapped about 10 new black ones and about 5 or 6 gray ones. :technical: And to boot, she bought my dad some leather work gloves in a size Large even though she knows my dad's hands are massive and would have been lucky to get an XL on... :icon_rolleyes:
Oh well... overall it went well and I'm happy. OH yeah one of the extras I got was from my brother... he bought me something called a tour of America hot sauce pack... it's got like 8 different hot sauces in it  I can't wait to try them all. And my dad got me the 25th anniversary edition of my favorite move ever (Tootsie) which has extras like deleted scenes and the making of, etc. :icon_mrgreen:
My little brother and I always exchange gifts, but this year we didn't really talk much about what we wanted. I ordered a nice photo of his Miata from his trip down to Tail of the Dragon this past summer, and I framed it for him. I gave it to him on Christmas Eve, and he was taken a bit by surprise as I guess he didn't plan on exchanging gifts this year. Christmas morning he shows up with a small package for me...a framed, grainy 5x7 photo of my rusty '04 Ford Ranger in the worst possible frame
Aside from that, I got the new IWB holster I wanted for my .380, as well as a bottle of Woodford Reserve and a couple of nice clothing items. My kids made out like bandits. My son got the Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage and Criss Cross Crash, and my daughter got a kitchen set. New toys made for a nice relaxing day on the couch for me yesterday! :woohoo:
How about New Years plans? We go to my in-laws every year for board games, food, and drink. It's low-key, quiet, and fun for the kids too. We usually spend most of New Year's Day watching movies and eating leftovers (and sauerkraut!). And I'll have another long weekend, so I certainly can't complain about that.
Christmas for me is like Groundhog Day ( the movie). Saturday was spent with my mother in laws family (she has 3 sisters), Sunday was with my immediate family along with my SIL's family, Monday was the FIL's family, today is with my parents & brother, and tomorrow is with friends. By the time New Years rolls around, I'm ready for a drink! Haha....
I got a bunch of the "normal" Christmas stuff, but I did get a really nice smart watch. My son has been playing with a new toy every waking minute of every day, all the while saying "I love Christmas / Santa Claus!". How cute.....
For New Years, we will go up to my SIL's house and play Cards Against Humanity. For those of you that haven't played it: don't play for the first time with religious family members or the neighbors pre-teen kids. Just a heads up.

I hope for your sake this isn't an "I learned this the hard way" kind of thing...
Anyone else experience a scene of brats, ungratefully opening a gifts from their wish-list and when they were done unwrapping/tossing gifts aside, they said, "I'm not excited about any of my gifts." I asked another one of them what they got and she replied, "Nothing."
OOOOOH, if I wasn't so American I would have let my villager spank the ungratefulness outta them! In retrospect, I'm sure my cousins wouldn't have had any issue with the delegated labor. :cookoo:
I got a cooking timer, a comfy sweater and a personal humidifier. I'm pretty happy with myself. :thumb:

Naturally! My FIL is strict Catholic, my MIL is a incredible woman (I won't even swear in front of her), and we played CAH with them. Whenever we play, I'm always the "Card Czar" which means I have to read out loud what EVERY card says. My SIL's neighbor was over last year when she was 13.... basically after every round I had to tell her "don't tell your parents you heard this come outta my mouth"
I got a sizable amount of money, couple of toiletries giftsets, book on the history of dr. Strange which I haven't read yet because I haven't seen the movie. I don't like to even watch movie trailers or see posters when it comes to the MCU, the more surprises they pack in the better. I got some nice loungewear/pj items, one is a big fluffy hoodie that's ind of like a hoodie/dressing gown. It's awesome! My mam bought me a watch too, but I don't wear watches...being a nursing student watches aren't ideal, they're unhygienic and can get caught on things, that's why we have fob watches :icon_lol:
But it was nice to spend time with family. Back in my homeland now to see my brother and friends

A decent gaming mouse
Once I went Roccat I found it very hard to go with anyone else. Their claim to fame is the programmable "shift" function where, just like the shift key on a keyboard, you can give each mouse button two functions and switch between them by holding the "shift" button you designate.
You can write macros, scripts, or just assign keyboard keys to these buttons and really expand the function of the mouse without having some ridiculous RPG mouse like the Razer Naga...
I found it incredibly useful for FPSs and light RPGs like TES and Fallout games.
Ohhhhh I like Lol. But a ways off for now. Got to go decent and inexpensive for time being. But frig nice lol. And they keyboards lol . very impressive.

drooling over the kone pure. comparable to the next gen logitech in price but far exceeding it in specs.

Roccat makes some cool functioning keyboards but they are mostly all rubber dome switches and after using Cherry MX-Blues for so long I won't go back, can't go back.
I need a new game-pad, though. My Razer Orbweaver is awesome in every way except one: the adhesive SUCKS and is soft and pressed out of the palm rests and makes my hands sticky. It's a know Razer issue, I can try to clean and repair myself or I can replace it. Inclined to work on it, but it sounds like a total hassle. If Razer changed their adhesive I'd rather just replace it.
just have a basic laser mouse. sucks compared to my old g5
Aaron
I use a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard at work. It was a gift, so I felt obligated to use it, but it's not the one I wanted... I wanted the "Stealth" version because I love the tactile feedback of mechanical keys, but I HATE the extra clickiness. The "Stealth" version uses Cherry MX Orange switches, which are basically just MX Browns with an earlier actuation point. Tactile bump, but no extra click. And I would install o-rings to reduce the click even more.
As for my mouse, my work one I just some garbage Logitech they gave me. But at home, I use a MadCatz M.O.U.S. 9. Its basically a bluetooth version of the R.A.T. 7. Lots of programmable buttons, supports multiple button profiles, has a dedicated "precision" button which, when held, reduces your mouse sensitivity by 50% (for sniping in FPS games, basically).
As far as what I want for the holidays this year, what I really want is a 4th gen GSX-R600. What I'll ask other people for is a set of Freeze-Out stuff from Cycle Gear lol.
drooling over the hardware. need to go to worst buy, perhaps walmart. need something. the stock mouse is horrible for fps or even war thunder. gaming is about all i do since cow project is over pretty much. just want a decent gaming mouse. been eyeballing a decent mechanical keyboard. not concerned about noise. heck im a noisy typist anyways lol
Aaron
Ooohhhhh a g502. And gta5 on my steam act and id be good. Or even a Chinese motorcycle battery for the cow.
Aaron
CM Storm and ThermalTake TTe have some decent mechanicals for pretty cheap. TTe makes a pretty standard keyboard with their own ripoff of Cherry MX Blue switches called the Poseidon that sells around $75.
I've used mice with "precision" buttons before. Hate them. I use a relatively low sensitivity anyway, but most games nowadays let you fine tune your zoom sensitivity in the options menus, and lately I've been preferring a 1:1 resolution when zoomed.
But the kicker is those "precision" buttons are usually dedicated, and you can't reprogram them.
On the flip side, many mice on the market with programmable buttons can be set to modify DPI on button press, even temporarily, so my Roccat can do the "precision" button if I want it to but I'm also not stuck with it from the factory...
indeed. methinks the g502 is the main want. the roccat on same level is around 25 more. worth it? yes, buit christmas or my budget wont allow. even looking @ used mice.

I think I can reprogram the precision button on my mouse, but I've never wanted to, since I like it lol. Only downside that the MOUS9 has is that by default the DPI is rather low for a gaming mouse (just because it's bluetooth rather than wired), so if I were to upgrade, I'd probably opt for something with a higher DPI. I love the MadCatz mice, but they discontinued the MOUS series so I can't get a wireless one anymore. Might have to move to Logitech or look into the Roccat ones you're talking about.
always loved logitech mainly because of their customer service dept. ( if there is a problem)

oooohhh mebbe a core i5 cpu for this lenovo to upgrade from the i3
Aaron
Core i5 is what I have in my gaming PC. Built it about 5 years ago now, still plenty of power for modern games. My GPUs are a little outpaced, though. Still using some EVGA GTX670FTW cards. With a little help from an SLi bridge I can still run most modern games comfortably on medium settings, if I pick and choose some of the advanced graphics settings I can get high textures but reduced visual effects.
Might grab some 900 series cards if I can find a good deal on them. Then after that if I'm not willing to go into overclocking maybe I'll consider going i7.
its weird an entry lever i5 (socket 1155) is almost 10 LESS than my i3 2100 lol
Aaron
but either way will have to wait until after new years price cuts anyways
Watcher, the 10 series cards are highly recommended if you can afford them. But the 900s will still be a sizable upgrade. As for the i5 vs i7, i7 is overkill for almost any gaming application. There's basically no situation in which having an i5 instead of an i7 will be your bottleneck. Much more productive to invest in a better GPU.
As for your processor yama, make sure that whatever processor you upgrade to has the same socket as your current one, otherwise you'll need to upgrade your motherboard too.
oh i know. a friend is giving me a 1gb 7750. which will take p[lace of my 1gb 4870. my mobo is a socket 1155. hoping to do this before too long tbh. within a few mos at most. the gpu will be in , in a few days.

Another small thing I'll probably ask for this year is a plasma lighter. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Novelty-WaresTM-Flameless-Rechargeable-Windproof/dp/B06ZXY6XPC?tag=top505-20&th=1
Been wanting one of those as well. They sell them on TV around here. The atomic lighter lol. But no matter what its used for it does well.

Slight bonus, friend showed me how to get windows 10 free ( via microsoft) and it upgraded and activated. now the only thing holding me back is not having say 8gb of ddr3 and or (both?) an i5 upgrade. trying to get in as a lab rat ( i.e. clinical trials) this will pay both for christmas as well as comp upgrades lol
Aaron
think i got in as a lab rat , if so ill be able to grab this at some point :) and 8gb of ddr3

material wise doing anything for christmas wont be happening. ( death in family) . thats okay though. having love of family means more than anything else. oh that 7750 is pretty much dead. tried to mount and run it. no output. i think it died in trANsit. C'est la vie lol. anyhoo looking at the future, ill invest in a cpu first then a gpu. eyeballing both an i5 and 7. thb would rather have a 7. but fwiw. a 5 would suffice.

this 3 is a sandy bridge. the new 5s and 7s are a bit nicer than the sandy bridges.

What a time to lose someone. I'm so sorry to hear that.
was my uncle. he had heart surgery 10 days ago, was out of hosp. for 4 days then that :/ . hell he made it 75 years though. which in my book you did well .

past christmas but pc ppl, whats your opinion on this? https://www.bestbuy.com/site/roccat-suora-frameless-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-black/5507534.p?skuId=5507534&ref=212&loc=1&ksid=77830e36-8ab1-41c9-ab2f-7af19527b3a9&ksprof_id=8&ksaffcode=pg200249&ksdevice=c&lsft=ref:212,loc:2

Looks like a fine keyboard to me. :dunno_black:
Looks like it uses TTC switches instead of Cherry MX. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I've never used anything but Cherry MX switches so I don't really know how they compare. I prefer Brown style (tactile bump, no audible click) but that's just personal preference. I know Watcher speaks highly of ROCCAT stuff, but I haven't personally used anything from them yet so I can't speak to build quality or anything like that.
aappreciate the input Qc, its going to be awhile anyways lol. unless one maagically shows at a thrift store.

I'm a big fan of the ROCCAT mice, never used one of their keyboards but that's because for a while they had literally zero mechanical options. If my CMStorm Quickfire TK takes a crap any time soon I'll probably get the Suora. Especially because the ROCCAT keyboard software syncs up with the mouse and expands the functionality.
Not using Cherry MX switches isn't necessarily a bad thing. IIRC the patent on Cherry's MX style switches has ended or something allowing anyone to copy them, and many companies are with good success.
Razer is a fine example, they use their own versions of blue/brown/red switches in the form of green/orange/yellow, yet nobody really has any complaints about Razer stuff (at least not against the switches). A tangible example of the cost difference would be in the TTe Poseidon, as the Poseidon is available with genuine Cherry MX blue switches as well as the TTe made blue switches. The Cherry version is around $100, while the TTe switch version is just $75.
i bought a cheap rgb . it was utter crap. but hey what could i expect. lol. so plugged the old k120 back in. for now. next on list is a decent (4gb 6650 i believe. better than my 4650 and decent price. sure overkill, but fwiw, a decent investment. cause when i upgrade cpu or rebuild it will fit in nicely.

You know what, I accidentally lied about not having used anything but Cherry MX. I have a Razer Blackwidow keyboard that I use at work. Completely forgot the Razer switches are proprietary and not Cherry MX. I actually haven't had a very good experience with this keyboard. I've found that after a while, some of the keys like to register multiple presses instead of just one. I don't know if mine is an outlier or if this is common with their stuff, but I won't be buying another Razer keyboard when I upgrade. (Technically I didn't even really buy this one, it was a gift.)
iirc ive used a razer mouse but not a kb. always liked logitech though. always preferred logitech. but heck, no matter who makes it, always mechanical kbs im a noisy typist, just liked the feel.

I've had a Razer Orbweaver for years that uses the green switches. No issues here aside from the adhesive they used on the pad getting soft and oozing out.
@qc I'd contact Razer and see what they say.
even if out of warrfanty like my g5 was by a year, i asked if there was anyway i could repair it, they sent me another one. worth trying at least Eh?
