Title: Carb butterfly shaft and bore
Post by: scratch on February 25, 2004, 02:32:31 PM
Anybody know of a good fix for a scored butterfly shaft and bore? Other than replacing the carb body and butterfly shaft, which I fear is what I must do.

Never saw anything like that. There is a new right side carb on ebay.
Don't know how to post the link. Search GS500

eBay URL ("Address") with your mouse.
2. Press Ctrl-C to copy it to the Windows clipboard.
3. In your GStwin post, paste the URL where you want it with Ctrl-V.
4. Click on the Preview button and test the link before clicking the Submit button.[/list:u]
You can get a little fancier with links, but this "bare bones" approach is all you really need.

Ooh, thanks!

Anybody think I can get away with just replacing the shaft? (As an option, in case I don't get the carb)
