Title: Petcock
Post by: Scotinoz on March 02, 2017, 03:40:34 PM
Was changing the fuel lines and noticed this was loose, gave it a pull and came off.
How should it be re-attached? Am I missing an O Ring? Thanks

there should be an o-ring there yeah. I just zip-tied it together and has worked.

Great, thanks. What about a smudge/seal of bondo to hold it in place rather than the cable tie?

I wouldn't.

In case it leaks or something you don't want to have to break Bondo off.

It should just press fit.  Zip tie if you're worried.  Or maybe a twisted wire if you want to be more discreet.

Good point, thanks! Anyone know where to find an O Ring that will fit? Have tried a few local auto stores this morning and they're all too fat to fit.

You could try a shop that does paintball guns.  Tell them you need a Buna O-ring.

Other than that...  Online.
