First and foremost thanks for taking the time to read/respond.
Long story short the locator pin snapped and half is stuck. Haven't tried anything yet as I wanted some advice from the forum. I believe this pin is hardened steel, about 3mm in diameter, and spins (has no threads) so it may be difficult to drill out.
Any advice would be appreciated.
(Picture is for reference, this is not my bike as it is not at my location at the moment)

Thanks again.
Yikes. I would suggest you find some hard as hell drill bits by the 100 pack and drill a nice locator hold.
Then knock in a dowel of the right size maybe in the advancer and tack it up in the right spot (the Bob Broussard advancer mod but in reverse (welding it into the hole). Then never ever ever ever use that advancer to turn the motor over.
Cool.
Buddha.
Drilled a hole directly next to the locator pin, used a fishhook method to push the locator pin out from the back. Sealed up the drilled hole and replaced the pin.
Got the pin out...hopefully everything else is good!
Lean the bike over at about 45degs and gently tap the end face of the shaft with a hammer.......it worked for me!
Try a strong magnet.
